About the gameStory & highlights
The main character, the fairy, can grow plants from the soil. Use a plant as a foothold or wither it to open up a path and aim for the goal.
Story. A small fairy sealed in a crystal deep inside a cave. A mysterious light awakens the fairy, then gives it a magic rod and guides it into the outside world. The light gave the fairy a mission to find and guide friends scattered around the world. A mysterious mechanical creature stands in the way. It's the beginning of a little fairy adventure.
1. Showa-retro cute visuals. A nostalgic pixel-art game with cute visuals.
2. An authentic action puzzle game. Although it looks cute, the stage difficulty is high. The controls are simple, but clearing every stage is not easy.
3. Endless ways to clear. Control the fairy to grow and wither plants and move freely vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. How you clear a stage is up to you — knock enemies down with blocks, bypass the area where enemies are and head for the goal, or trap enemies in plants to advance.
Plants with 5 elements is aimed at adults and children alike who enjoy action games and puzzle games.
HistoryHow it was made
On January 20, 2019, Michitaka Tsuruta created a folder to start making an action puzzle game by himself — putting together the game specification, drawing pixel art, and shooting the photos that would become the basis of the backgrounds.
Joint development with Feelcerca began on January 23, 2021.
Playable exhibit for four days at Tokyo Game Show 2022 (September 15–18, 2022).
Plants with 5 elements launched on the App Store and Google Play on February 17, 2023 — Feelcerca's second game.
Version 1.1.0 (August 24, 2023) added expansive scrollable stages (previously stages were single-screen only) and a relief item called the "Light Stone" that makes the harder stages easier to clear.
The Nintendo Switch version was shown as a playable demo for four days at Tokyo Game Show 2024 (September 26–29, 2024).
Development continues, with more features on the way.
